We offer a range of interactive and resource based CD-ROMs designed specifically to support the Curriculum For Excellence. You don’t need any previous dance training to use them and they will help you achieve the outcomes and experiences laid out in the CFE.

321 Go! (Supporting the early & first dance outcomes)

This easy to use CD-ROM is the perfect resource to help you create fun dance sessions that encourage your pupils to achieve the early and first outcomes and experiences laid out in the Curriculum For Excellence.

It includes 3-D animated warm-ups led by Gorf the dancing frog, lesson notes, workshop ideas , useful hints and tips, Gorf’s Groove Machine which children can use to make their own music and a selection of pre-recorded tasks

Science-Physical (Supporting the first & second dance/science outcomes)

Science-Physical is the ideal tool to support an interdisciplinary study - using dance to explore science.

It offers a variety of resources including games, interactive exercises, animations, music and video clips, detailed lesson plans on Light and Shadow, The Body, Magnets and Springs and 45 minutes of original music.

AnyBodyCanDance (supporting second, third & fourth dance outcomes)

£20 (+VAT)

AnyBodyCanDance is an interactive CD-ROM which you can use to create and save dance combinations, new music, lesson plans and choreography.
The programme contains:
• a selection of animated warm-ups
• high quality images
• video, animation and sound to encourage and inspire children
• a detailed help section is also included

The Desperate Journey

£15 (+VAT)
For use with age 10+

This Highland Clearances CD-ROM, based on the themes of Kathleen Fidler’s popular children’s novel The Desperate Journey, offers teachers fresh and innovative stimuli to explore Scotland’s history and traditions. By moving the lesson away from their desks, pupils can engage in the emotional and physical journey themselves, tracing the voyage through four distinct locations – The Homeland, The Journey, The City and The New Land.
